Just follow the link and you will love what you see. This gal does great work with her Magnolia images and YES...there is a Magnolia stamp included in her CANDY! Hop on over and have a look. You won 't regret it. http://crejakaarten.blogspot.com/2008/06/blog-candy.html
GRrrrrrrrrr...Typepad has changed things arond a bit and I CANNOT manage to do the links like before. They were hidden and you clicked on a "word". In this case the word would have been BLOG CANDY. I would love it if some kind soul would tell me "in kind words..LOL" how to do this. In the meantime if you right click on link and open in new page, you will be fine. GRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
I love how this card turned out. I purchased the Tilda stamp from Phebe at The Town Scrapper.
I will make 5 cards using the cancer stamp from Magnolia and send them to Phebe to help her with a project she has started. These cards will be sold and 100 % of the proceeds will go to the palliative floor, hospice, children's ward and cancer research in her area.
The salutation on the card is from Papertrey Ink stamp set "Faux Ribbon".
The card measures 5.25" square. Cardstock used is SU Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla. Designer paper is from a large box that I bought at Costco a few months back. Image is stamped using Stazon black ink.
I still prefer Mineral Spirit and Prisma colored pencils for adding color to an image. I do have 2 dozen Copics but.........I need lots of practice AND more colors. Just waiting for a call from our local store.............which is 2 hours away. I love living in the country....LOL.
I finally tackled sewing on cardstock. Not sure why I waited so long to try it. I added stickles "star dust" to the roses, wing and the pink cancer ribbon on her sweater. BTW.....the ribbon is a separate stamp...kewl! I used all kinds of toys making this card including my new rectangular Spellbinder Nestabilities.
Ok.....gotta go....my turn to play on Scrabulous AND the second hour of American Idol is on. I really think David WILL win. *wink*
CIAO!
Hurry over to "KATHARINA'S CREATIVE PLACE" for a chance to win brand new original Hänglar and Stänglar stamp.
I did this card before Christmas. I guess it is about time gthat I posted it. The Magnolia's remind me of my 3 year old Granddaughter, "LOLA RITZ" .
This card measures 5.25 x 5.25 inches.
The designer paper is from a large package that I purchased at Costco in the Fall.
Cardstock colors used are SU Gable Green, Pretty in Pink, Orchard Opulance. The image was stamped on Naturals white using Classic black ink from Stampin'Up. Although I have read somewhere that Mineral spirits will not blend using watercolor pencils; I have not run into that problem. This image was colored using Stampin'Up Watercolor pencils and mineral spirits. My collection of Prisma Colored pencils is growing and I DO use them now with the mineral spirits.
The Gable Green was embossed using one of the cuttlebug folders. The flowers were cut from a blank coaster using one of the flower cutting dies from cuttlebug. I colored the flowers with my Stampin'Up ink pads.
I added sparkle to the flowers with Heat and Stick powder and Dazzling Diamond Glitter from SU.
EeeeeeeeeeK! I just noticed I did NOT use ribbon on this card. How could that be? I ALWAYS use ribbon.
I did however add a touch of glitz using Stickles on the cake and her pony tail ribbons.
I LUV LUV LUV her. Have you seen the new Magnolia's that have been released? They have little guys and babies too.
Enough of my rambling........Thanks for dropping in.

I have never paper-pieced til now. This stamp set was a perfect choice for a beginner. All supplies used in this card are from Stampin'Up except for the brown eyelets.
Stamp Set - A Good Egg
Cardstock colors - Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White.
Designer paper is from the Berry Bliss Collection. Ribbon is Poly-Twill Chocolate Chip found in the "Occassions" Mini.
Image was stamped using Classic black ink and colored with Barely Banana marker. Cheeks were blushed using chalk. Corners of the 3 image layers were rounded to match the scalloped edge on the pink cardstock. All this was done using the corner rounder punch. The brown dots were made using the 1/8" hand punch.
Can ya believe it? It is really me again.........yup! Two days in a row. WOWZERS!
The stamps out there just get cuter and cuter. I love this guy! This little bear,(Lavender Bouquet) is part of the new "Gruffies Collection" created by Ellen Jareckie. I purchased this stamp online at "THE STAMPBUZZ ".
Card base measures 5.25" square. SU Sahara Sand cardstock is the main color of this card. Lavender Lace and Elegant Eggplant are my accent colors.
I stamped the image using SU Classic Black ink on Papertrey's "wonderful" white cardstock. There is no other like it that I have found anywhere. "Sorry Stampin'Up". I colored image with my Prisma colored pencils and Neutral Thin.
DP is "Daisybucket Designs", Whimsical Ladies Collection.
Sentiment is from the retired SU "MIxed Greetings" set and stamped using Elegant Eggplant classic ink. Ribbon is 1/4" Grosgrain from Stampin'Up. The cutesy ribbon slide can be found in the "Styled Silver HodgePodge" from the NEW SU Occassions Mini Collection. The flower accent is source unknown. It was a piece of candy that I received in the mail with a purchase that I made. I really have to start making notes. It's an age thang........LOL
Back to the drawing board! Perhaps I will have 3 daily posts in a row. Did I mention that we did NOT get any of the snow that others received over the weekend? *GRIN*

I have fallen in love with Tilda. It's all Kimmie's fault. She is such an enabler! She has a challenge on her blog at the moment.....Nice and Springy
I have taken the challenge. This card is 5.25`x 5.25`. Tilda has been stamped onto Papertrey Ink white cardstock using SU Classic black ink. I colored the her using Prisma colored pencils and Neutral Thin from Eco-House in Fredericton,New Brunswick. Neutral Thin has no odour and can be found at most art supply stores. Image is matted onto Papertrey Ink Aqua Mist cardstock and again on SU Pink Passion.
Card base is also Aqua Mist. DP is from a large box that I purchased at Cosco this past fall.
Accents are Stickles StarDust that I used to highlight the ribbon on her egg. I added Papertrey Ink Aqua Mist Twill Tape 3/8" ribbon on the left side of paper strip and 3 brads to the right side. And what is spring without flowers? I layered some nice yellow Prima's and added them to the lower corner of the image.
Now I am off to do another Tilda card for tomorrow..........Maaaaaaaaaaaybe!
