NOEL COLOR CHALLENGE

SCS Tuesday color challenge #131.....Arrrrrrrgh!

I said to myself.........."that should be easy". NOT......I worked all day long on it. I am pleased at the end result though.

Card is standard size 4.25 x 5.5. All supplies are from Stampin'Up except for the Stickles glitter used on the ornament.

Stamps: Big On Christmas, Season's of Joy

CS: Always Artichoke, Purely Pomegranate, Taken With Teal, Naturals White, Black and Metallic Gold.

Ink: Stazon Black, Always Artichoke, Purely Pomegranate, Taken With Teal.

Acessories: Gold Metallic Ribbon, Stickles Glitter Glue in Crystal and Gold.

I did not care for the starkness of the white, so I used the Spritzer Tool from Stampin'Up and Taken With Teal marker to add a bit of color. For a closer look click on the image to open in a new window.

I have outdone myself with 3 posts today! Now back to the drawing board. Perhaps I will work on Beate's weekend sketch challenge.

MERRY AND BRIGHT....10 minutes in the making.

Very simple but cute card. I dry embossed the square using one of my retired crochet hooks and a cereal box template. Instructions for this technique can be found at  "FROM MY INK PAD TO YOURS"  .

All supplies used for this card are from Stampin'Up.

CS: Naturals White cut to 6.25 x 3.25" and folded to make a card 6.5" x 3.5". This card fits into a standard envelope 6.5" x 3.5".

Ink: Classic Basic Black, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou and Real Red

Card is accented with Blue Bayou double stitched ribbon. Corners are rounded using the new corner round punch from Stampin'Up.

WINTER PLAY...

 

Here is another Christmas card made using stamp set "GR G4 NOEL", designed by fellow Canadian Maryse Carrier . I love the simplicity of her images. All the images in the background arefrom the set as well. Finished size is standard 5.5 x 4.25. Image is water colored using Stampin'Up classic inks.

Sentiment stamp is from the "INKADINKADO" Holiday Fun set.

Inks: Stampin'Up Classic Basic Black, Basic Brown, Blue Bayou, Old Olive, Soft Sky, Real Red

Finished card is accented with metal swirl clip (Stampin'Up HodgePodge kit) tied off with Blue Bayou double stitched ribbon. The snowflakes are highlighted using Stickles Crystal glitter glue.

TIS THE SEASON.....HO-HO-HO

My Mojo! Thanks to Poetic Artistry and her Mojo Monday challenge. I guess we all have those little tidbits in a drawer somewhere that we started and set aside til later. I am slow getting into these challenges, but I will keep up eventually.......LOL.

Patterned cardstock is K & Company Holiday Pad

Stamps:  Main image GR G4 NOEL by Canadian Designer Maryse Carrier . Sentiment is from inkadinkado Holiday Fun stamp set. The background on the creamy caramel was stamped using the dotted trail stamp from "Little Lady" from PAPERTREY INK .

Image is stamped with Black Stazon and the sentiment is done with Always Artichoke ink.

Image is watercolored using Stampin'Up Watercolor Crayons and Aqua pen.

Accessories: Gold brads, mat set from Stampin'Up, Stickles gold glitter glue.

2-5-7-10 GIFT BOX

They say good things come in small packages!

I love the 2-5-7-10 gift box. What a great way to gift package those homemade candy treats that we make every year. My chocolate covered brittle will be well dressed this Holiday season!

SNOWY FRIEND...

Fall is definately in the air and it makes one think of winter! I do love snowmen!

Not Quite Navy CS from Stampin'Up was used as the base of this standard 4.25" x 5.5" card. The snowman image from INKADINKADO was stamped on Whisper white CS and colored using watercolor pencils and Aqua Painter.

Patterned paper is Basic Grey (Dasher). Other Stampin'Up cardstocks used are Red, Sky and Brushed Gold Metallic.

Embellishments used are Stickles Crystal, Metallic Ribbon and Gold Embossing Powder. The sentiment is from Stampin'Up's Many Merry Messages.
