Ah ha! I bet you thought I had vanished from the face of the Earth. Just call me lazy.......I don't know how you girls do this everyday.........I really don't. That however, is no excuse for having a full month between posts. Now for the first in a series of Xmas cards. I guess it is rather late for the rest of my Hallowe'en cards. LOL
Please do not ask what made me choose these colors....I DO NOT know. I will NOT use them again, I promise.
All of the colored cardstock comes from Stampin'Up. Colors I chose were Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Groovy Guava. The Old Olive and Groovy Guava CS were stamped using like colors and the canvas background stamp frpm Stampin'Up. The main image was stamped on the super weight white CS from "Papertrey Ink" . Images and salutation are also from Papertrey Ink.
Inks are from Stampin'Up and colors are Basic Brown, Old Olive, Grovvy Guava, Blue Sky and Blue Bayou.
Now for the details. This is why I do not charge by the hour. My cards would be priceless iffin I did!
Using the Cuttlebug cutting die "Christmas" I cut the ornaments from my collection of blank coasters...."don't ask". I then stamped each one using one of the ornament stamps from Papertrey's "Take A Bough". Now what? This is where I trimmed the little tab from the top of each ornament and embellished them with ............ Stickles of course. I stickled a gold line for each ornament so they could hang from the branch.
If you have never checked out Nicole Heady's blog, you should. She makes your head spin with all her great ideas. She keeps ya thinking!! And spending too I might add.
That's it for today.......I promise I will return before Dec.
CIAO!
