I did this card before Christmas. I guess it is about time gthat I posted it. The Magnolia's remind me of my 3 year old Granddaughter, "LOLA RITZ" .
This card measures 5.25 x 5.25 inches.
The designer paper is from a large package that I purchased at Costco in the Fall.
Cardstock colors used are SU Gable Green, Pretty in Pink, Orchard Opulance. The image was stamped on Naturals white using Classic black ink from Stampin'Up. Although I have read somewhere that Mineral spirits will not blend using watercolor pencils; I have not run into that problem. This image was colored using Stampin'Up Watercolor pencils and mineral spirits. My collection of Prisma Colored pencils is growing and I DO use them now with the mineral spirits.
The Gable Green was embossed using one of the cuttlebug folders. The flowers were cut from a blank coaster using one of the flower cutting dies from cuttlebug. I colored the flowers with my Stampin'Up ink pads.
I added sparkle to the flowers with Heat and Stick powder and Dazzling Diamond Glitter from SU.
EeeeeeeeeeK! I just noticed I did NOT use ribbon on this card. How could that be? I ALWAYS use ribbon.
I did however add a touch of glitz using Stickles on the cake and her pony tail ribbons.
I LUV LUV LUV her. Have you seen the new Magnolia's that have been released? They have little guys and babies too.
Enough of my rambling........Thanks for dropping in.
CIAO!
